"Studying the Bible has helped me significantly because it has given me purpose in life that I didn’t have when I wasn’t a disciple. It's important because it teaches you how to live a godly life and strengthens you every time you read it. The Bible compares itself to food because that’s exactly what it is, spiritual food. If you don’t eat, you’ll die. It’s the same way with the Bible. If you don’t continually come back to the word, you’ll die spiritually."

William Patterson Student"Prior to studying the Bible, I came from a Calvinist background where I was taught that salvation is not for all, it’s only for the elect. This caused a lot of inner turmoil and confusion because I was never sure of my salvation. But studying the Bible showed me how plainly God lays out the plan of salvation and how we receive it, so I can be confident and not wonder everyday if I’m saved or not. Studying the Bible is crucial. The world is incredibly loud and has a lot to say about everything, including the Bible. And unless we study the Bible ourselves, we can get lost in the noise and miss God’s plainly laid out plan for our lives. If I didn’t sit with disciples who helped me see the scriptures plainly, I would have still been lost in the noise and confused."

R&D Project Manager"Studying the Bible helped me to realize how much in the dark I was, rather than believing the self deception I came to believe. I think it’s important because if you don’t get into the Word, you’ll never understand it or know what to do. I would encourage everyone to dive deep into the Bible and see God for themselves, because He’s only one call away. So pick up the phone and stop ghosting him, deny yourself and follow him. Play time is over, living Godly is the new standard!"

William Patterson Student"Studying the Bible has helped me understand my true identity in Christ, which has eliminated most of my own personal insecurities. I’m so grateful to have gotten the chance to not only connect to God, but also be able to understand His word through the help of His people who have become my closest confidantes. It’s important to study the Bible not only to truly heal yourself, but to then help heal others."

When should I get baptized?
Matthew 28:18-20Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
